Sheryl Underwood is an American television host, comedian and actress popular for hosting the daytime talk show The Talk. Sheryl Underwood was born and raised in Arkansas and was raised within Little Rock, Atwater and Atwater. Sheryl has a troubled family. She was a troubled child. childhood taking care of her younger sister Frankie who suffered from Polio. She faced a lot of trouble with her mother while growing older. Sheryl claims that at some instance, she was stabbed by her mother her son's father because she was getting close to her. Sheryl entered the military following her graduation from college. Her interest in comedy became stronger. In 1989, she was the first woman to reach the finals in the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. She began her TV career in the year 1992 when she made a cameo appearance as a frequent actor on the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. She also appeared in 2000 as an host on the T.V. show Oh Drama! In 2011, she began participating for The Talk as co-host. She's been in show such as Bulworth Nikki Beauty Shop and others.
