Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington is a Greek American author syndicated columnist and businesswoman. She is a co-founder of The Huffington Post the founder and CEO of Thrive Global and the author of 15 books. Arianna Huffington, an independently-owned liberal news site has a TV personality, author, and philanthropist. Her birthplace was Greece she relocated to England at the age of 16 and graduated from Cambridge University with an MA in Economics. The famous debating society The Cambridge Union was her first presidency and she did it when she was 21. Following the graduation ceremony, she became a well-known conservative syndicated journalist. In the years later, she founded The Huffington Post which featured critical commentary on the current politics. The celebrity she enjoyed allowed her to persuade a number of famous people to share their opinions regarding current affairs, the as well as politics and culture. Arianna's popularity was first noticed in 2003 when she declared herself an independent candidate in the California recall election to succeed then-Governor Davis. In addition to this, she led the Detroit Project for efficient vehicles that use less fuel. Her name was voted as the most Influential Women in Media by Forbes in 2009 and was awarded the 12th place in that list. The same year, the Guardian listed her among the top 100 media list. In 2011 AOL Inc. purchased The Huffington Post and made her the head of the media group which included many then-existing AOL products, such as Engadget AOL music Style list as well as Patch Media. Elli was the son of Konstantinos the management and journalism consultant. Although she had a close relationship with her mother and father but it was their connection that shaped her. She was a leader throughout her childhood. Her move to England came at 16 to continue her education and was accepted into Girton College Cambridge. In her time at college, she was a member of the college debate Society Cambridge Union where she became the third foreign, and first female president. The year 1972 was the year her master's in Economics was awarded. After the graduation ceremony, she worked as an editor of the critic's column and a television host. In addition, she appeared alongside Bernard Levin in an episode of Face the music and started making books with his editing assistance.
