
Ky-mani Marley, who is working towards the completion of his third album that is untitled is surely a major. Ky-mani was the son of Robert Nesta Marley (the legendary Jamaican table tennis player) and Anita Belnavis (a Jamaican woman who was a champion in several sports) On February 26, 1976 in Falmouth. East African word Ky-mani means "adventurous traveler". Being a person who lives up to his title, each album and every trip to the Caribbean is an exciting experience. The musical journey began in 1999 when he released The Journey. Through an eclectic approach, he searched for his niche exploring the music spectrum, exploring his many talents. In 2001, Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated) A "traditional" reggae album , was out, which revealed a more mature Ky-mani. Many More Roads and The Journey was well-received throughout the world. This solidified Ky-mani's status as an independent artist. Ky-Mani has earned a reputation for his distinct blend between hip-hop and R&B along with some modern-day jazz.
