Rubi Rose Benton an Kentucky native born on September 2, 1997. Her parents were Nardos Gebrelul, her maternal grandmother (an Eritrean immigrant dentist, educated in Ethiopia), and John Benton her father (a lawyer with Japanese and African American descent). Her father was adopted. Scarlette and her older sister, and Coral, her younger sister, are also adopted. (2) She was baptized as an Orthodox Christian as a child. She was a student at Brookwood High School in Snellville, Georgia and ran track. She studied political science at Georgia State University. She's been influenced by Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, and Foxy Brown. Rose rose to fame first as the lead actress in Migos music videos, including "Bad and Boujee" which was a hip-hop band. Rose started appearing on Twitch streams along with DJ Akademiks an Jamaican-born East Coast Hip Hop commentator. Rose's musical career began in September 2018 when she released a remix of the song "On the Top", which was produced by Playboi. Her single "Big Mouth" was a hit in the year 2019, and she performed well in the year ahead. Rose appeared in American rapper Cardi B's music video for her hit single "WAP" and was released on August 7 the 7th of August, 2020. In 2019, she signed with A&R Chris Turner to LA Reid's record label Hitco Entertainment. Rubi is also very well known for her high profile relationships.
